Description
Facility energy efficiency assessments help Council to identify opportunities to reduce emissions produced at our buildings and facilities.
We use the carbon accounting platform Trellis to identify high consumption buildings, equipment and assets, which highlights opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades or behaviour changes.
Using the Community Building Assessment Tool (comBAT), Council staff can conduct self-assessments on facilities it owns to better understand energy usage of the building and equipment to then identify energy efficiency projects.
Assessments can be conducted in line with asset management planning and/or Energy Efficiency Register (EER).
