2. Climate actions in our Community

Indigo Shire Council is also committed to supporting our amazing communities to reduce emissions, adopt renewable technologies, and adapt to climate change.

We're empowering our community organisations with sustainability grants, which enable eco-friendly projects such renewable energy and energy efficiency projects at community buildings across the shire.

We've also joining forces with other like-minded organisations through actively participating in local and regional climate partnerships. By working together and sharing ideas and resources, we will help build more resilient and climate-ready communities.
