Emissions from electricity

This is the total amount of emissions produced by electricity consumption by ISC operations and facilities.

Notes:

This data is reported by Trellis, our carbon accounting platform. Data originate from invoices to ISC.

Some of ISC's facilities are managed by Committees of Management or lease holders. As ISC gains access to these data, the amount of energy consumed may appear to increase, though this is due to better data collection and not necessarily consuming more electricity per facility.

In 2021, ISC joined the PPA and reduced emissions from its electricity consumption substantially - only a handful of fixed meters remain on fossil-fueled electricity contracts.

As of 2023, ISC is working towards moving electricity consumption in leased facilities, which are currently invoiced to lease holders, onto PPA (VECO).
