This is the total amount of electricity consumed (GJ) by ISC operations.
Notes:
Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions are included in this total (Scope 3 comprising electricity consumption in some of our leased facilities).
This data is reported by Trellis, our carbon accounting platform. Data originate from electricity invoices billed to ISC.
Some of ISC's facilities are managed by Committees of Management or lease holders. As ISC gains access to these data, the amount of energy consumed may appear to increase, though this is due to better data collection and not necessarily consuming more electricity per facility.
As of 2023, ISC is working towards moving electricity consumption in leased facilities, which are currently invoiced to lease holders, onto PPA (VECO).
